Team Schedule

June 9 - Depart Memphis mid afternoon en route to Paris, via Philadelphia

June 10 - Arrive in Nairobi 8pm and spend night at CHAK Guest House

June 11 - Travel by vans from Nairobi to Maua; will take most of the day. Lodging at Maua Basin Hotel.

June 12 - Attend St. Joseph's UMC in Maua in the morning. Unpack, rest, plan for the week and have Tea with Rev Grace's family

June 13 - Tour hospital and begin work projects at the hospital and begin building the AIDS orphans home.  

June 13-14 - Continue to work on the AIDS orphans home. 

June16 - Conduct the two early morning chapel services for the hospital staff.  Visit Athiru Gaiti Clark ECD School in the morning.  Afternoon dedication of AIDs orphans house.

June 17 - Medical Camp (remote clinic) and schools deworming

June 18 - Travel to the Methodist Bio-Intensive Farm in Meru, to host children who are have been in street children's rescue center.  This a a new outreach ministry of the hospital.  This will be our first time to host this children.  Please keep them in your prayers 

June 19 - Worship at Kaaga Methodist Chruch and then the youth resume training - learning sustainable agricultural techniques and animal husbandry.  We will work on projects at the Farm, like building a new rabbit pen.

June 21 - Youth continue their training.  Team continues to work at the Farm.  In the evening we will have a 'graduation' ceremony and present certificates to each of the youth for completing their training.

June 22 - Drive to a short distance to Ol Pajeta Conservancy for a 2 night stay and our debrief.

June 24 - Drive to Nairobi.  We will have dinner in Nairobi before heading to the airport for the return trip home.  Our flight from Nairobi after midnight.

June 25 - Last travel day.  We will return via Paris, Charlotte and arrive in Memphis 4:39pm.
