Tuesday at the Bio-Intensive Farm

Today is our last day at the "Farm". It is hard to describe how beautiful and rich the foliage is. The work team painted the railings on the office building and painted the exterior of the dining hall. The Giving Hope kids learned about hand tilling and planting. Just prior to our evening meal, John Mwalimr of the Bio-intensive Farm, presented the students with a Certificate of Training and encouraged them to share what they learned with their community and family. He also said he would be visiting them to check on their progress. We had a devotional, sang songs, and closed with Holy Communion. Our young people did a great job of interacting with these young men and women. Our entire group was blessed by our Kenyan brothers and sisters in Christ.
