Work day begins!
After a tour of the hospital and tea with the Savuto's, we set out on our work detail. A group went to build an AIDS orphan home and by day's end the walls were going up. The gals did a lot of the sawing and the guys did the framing and most (not all!) the nailing. Another group painted the children's wing at the hospital. After 3 coats of paint, the job was done and the kids will be enjoying their "avatar blue" walls. Dr. Susan and others helped set up some of the equipment we brought, inventory meds, and visit with Maua Methodist doctors.
