Linda: "being enveloped by the group of singing and dancing women that escorted us to the house site, I found myself crying because of the overwhelming love and joy they were sharing with us"
Maureen: "experiencing that people will so readily accept help from others, unlike our (and my own) quest for independence"
Susan: "spending time with people on our team and at the hospital that are such humble and good servants"

Carol: "being assisted down a steep hill by a very old woman who, at the bottom of the hill (and though she didn't speak any English) pointed to me and said 'friend'"

Shelby: "how easy it is to build a rapport with people, and meeting Pamela (mother) and Angel (her severely burned infant) and being renewed by her faithfulness and positivity"
