Today we took fifteen kids to the Methodist Bio intensive Farm in Meru. For two days they will be learning efficient ways of farming and how to properly care for their goats, cows, chickens, and rabbits. Some of these kids have just a small plot of land so they'll teach them how to plant a portable garden in a burlap bag. The team spent the afternoon painting interior buildings and laying water pipes so that the fish pond is adequately aerated. We enjoyed visiting with the kids during our meal times and learning about their lives.
